Started new job today. Am very tired. Already.

I work half the day doing mind-numbing, repetitive-motion office work.

And the other half of the day doing different mind-numbing, repetitive-motion office work.

A girl who was hired only a month before me tried to train me. At first it was chaos and only really got worse. Her scattered brain left my notes in strange fragments, none of which I'll be able to understand tomorrow. Her instructions on tasks I would be performing consisted of statments like, "After you do this one, you'll do this and it will look like that when you do it. But don't forget to do this first and then when your done, you have to do this. Oh wait, I forgot that you need to make this one here in the middle like this." While she is quickly pointing at papers and clicking into various programs on the computer reassuring me that its all common sense and very easy it's "obvious" you "do this" with "this".

Confused, I ask more questions. I get more do this's.

Finally the supervisor comes by and tells us that she is speaking way to fast and for goodness sakes it's okay (to me) that I don't have to worry about anything until tomorrow.

Good grief. At least I only have like four more months to get enough money to pay a small down payment on a car.

Blah.
